Attention: WAMU Credit Card Customers

Starting Wednesday, March 4, you won't be able to go online and access your credit card account for five days.

Chase is moving all WaMu credit card accounts to its Web site and during the transition, you won't be able to check your balance or make an online payment.

So, if you need to schedule an electronic payment in the next few days, you'd better do it before Wednesday.

Your credit cards will not be affected by any of this. Only online banking will go dark from Wednesday through Sunday. The blackout will not affect online access of WaMu checking or savings accounts.
